No fixed structures, no pre-written form – only listening, intuition and immediate response.

A rare detour from his usual work, on Monday, March 16, in Front Room.

He’ll be joined by Cumnat Vitreg, carrying a different kind of sound. After years deep in electronic music, he turned toward the jazz territories of Miles Davis, Nik Bartsch, Mathias Eick, Anouar Brahem – where music breathes and selections actually say something. A set about the city, about the vibe, about what happens when you leave the familiar beats behind and follow instinct.

Best known for his Piano and Electronics signature project, Mischa Blanos reimagines the piano as an instrument of the 21st century.

His latest album, his new album Take Control, a retro-avant-garde project that merges acoustic prepared piano, electronics and live drums into a powerful call for unity and freedom.
