Taanteatro Ecoperformance Workshop @ Centrul Naţional al Dansului Bucureşti
Taanteatro Ecoperformance Workshop with Maura Baiocchi and Wolfgang Pannek (Taanteatro Companhia, São Paulo, Brazil)
The Taanteatro Ecoperformance Workshop is an invitation to artists striving for an overcoming of overly anthropocentric performing and audiovisual arts concepts and practices. Guided by a symbiotic practice-theory approach, Maura Baiocchi and Wolfgang Pannek will provide a conceptual overview of ecoperformance within the methodological framework of taanteatro or choreographic theater of tensions and introduce to practices benefitting and intensifying environment-oriented states and dynamics of performative perception, presence, and interaction. Integrating sensibilization, training, theory and creation, the practitioners will experience psychophysical exercises such as Mandala of Body Energy and Conatus (Effort) and approach the concepts of tension, ecoporeality, schizopresence, ecoperformance and symbio-scene. The encounter will culminate in collective performative improvisation based on the workshop program.
For registration: FREE participation, maximum 20 people
We are looking for: dancers, actors, performers, artists interested in movement and ecology.
