Sofia Zadar is a Bucharest based musician, performer, drag king, and multidisciplinary artist. Their work dissolves boundaries between processed electronic structures, organic textures, spoken word, and intricate vocal harmonies, constructing experimental pop worlds shaped through a neuroqueer and feminist lens.
Their releases, Lyra (2021), Hictopia (2023), and the upcoming debut LP Ecotranarchy (2025), trace a journey from ecofeminist meditations to a body-rhythmic pop odyssey, and into a spiralic exploration of wonder and interrelatedness.

The Cult Control Association produces and promotes the series through a grant offered by Banca Transilvania.
