Some events mark a shift for our scene. Having legendary Brazilian extreme metal heritage on stage in Timișoara is one of those moments.
Formed in Belo Horizonte in 1985, Sarcófago is one of the most influential extreme metal bands in history. Releases like I.N.R.I. and The Laws of Scourge redefined speed, hostility, and imagery, laying the foundational groundwork for black metal, death metal, and war metal worldwide.
Now, original co-founder and bassist Geraldo Minelli is bringing that legacy back to the stage through “The Laws”.
THE LINEUP
Sarcófago (“The Laws” feat. Geraldo Minelli)
Created in 2019 in São Paulo by Michel Crisaor, Rodrigo Malevolent, and former Sarcófago guitarist Fábio Jhasko (The Laws of Scourge), the project was formed to preserve the raw essence of Brazil’s most extreme outfit. In 2021, Sarcófago founder Geraldo Minelli permanently joined the lineup, taking the helm to deliver these landmark tracks live to fans across the globe. After a brief hiatus, the band reformulated in 2024 to continue touring into 2025 and 2026.
Occultor (Arad – Romania)
Formed out of a shared obsession with war metal, old-school thrash, and first-wave black metal, Occultor brings a style rarely represented in the Romanian underground. Heavily influenced by bands like Sarcófago, Blasphemy, Bathory, and early Sepultura, their sound blends aggressive, riff-driven thrash with raw atmospheric violence. Following their debut album The Eucharist, they continue to deliver an uncompromising live set.
Wräthhammer (Brașov/Timișoara – Romania)
Formed in 2023 by bassist/vocalist Härdrocker, alongside drummer Ficus and guitarist Antimaniac. Wräthhammer plays a fast, violent hybrid of black/thrash metal heavily stripped with the raw speed and aggression of crust punk.
OCH (Timișoara – Romania)
Founded in late 2025 by Paraschiv Luca (ex-Ventum) and Dragoș Tocoian, OCH has grown into a solid five-piece featuring David Misarăs (ex-Violent Breed), Alexandru Iulian Vasiliu (ex-Bizzar, Țipăt), and Bence (Țipăt). Blending the aggression of 1st wave black/speed metal with the atmospheric rawness of the 2nd wave, the band is currently preparing their debut full-length album.
