Open MIC with Kirk @ Londohome
Kirk comes from Detroit, Michigan, USA, where he was a musician, a paramedic, a firefighter, a radio broadcaster and a baker. For the last twelve years he travelled the world teaching English Literature in American schools. In Brazil he met his wife, and since then they travel together.
While in India, he and a group of friends had a band called The Mo Chits, and three of the members eventually moved to Bucharest. One of the people left behind is the drummer, a fellow from Ruse, Bulgaria, who joins them for gigs when visiting home.
- Please sign up in person up to one hour before the start time.
The house offers a PA, a guitar and a few microphones. Come sing a song or read a poem or a text you have written. Kirk will make sure you feel welcomed.
