CABINET presents: Play Pal Music 10 yrs w/ Teniente Castillo, Eddie Lanzat, Jijan, Nek
Teniente Castillo [an alias taken from the original tv show ‘Miami Vice’] has been DJing for over 20 years. Expect eclectic. Founder and manager of Play Pal Music, Teniente Castillo has been involved in many musical projects, residencies and venues, sharing the decks with artists like Crazy P, Tim Sweeney, Dj Harvey, David Shaw, Curses, Chicken Lips, Dombrance or Ahsley Beedle, among many others.
He visited some of the finest clubs in Europe and Spain like Renate Club (Berlin) — where he hosted an annual showcase, La Dame Noir (Marseille), Kater Blau (Berlin), Le Carmen (Paris), Ratcat (Sibenik), Sidecar (Barcelona), Le Club (Valencia); as well as tours in Mexico where he’s been going for many years playing at some of the main clubs across the country like M.N.Roy, Rodhesia or Bar Oriente, and of course in his hometown, where he visits often, holding residencies at clubs such as Cafe Berlin, Ballesta Club, Siroco or Macera Club [he his new venue Muscaria].
In 2012 he launched, and has been managing ever since, his own imprint, Play Pal Music, where he signed many great artists such as Vox Low, Curses, Damon Jee, Theus Mago, Iñigo Vontier, Thomass Jackson and a long etc. [complete roster on Play Pal Music Soundcloud] faithfully reflecting his eclectic vision for music.
He has published music on labels such as Ombra INTL, Relish, Roam, Playground Rec. Belly Dance Services or his own imprint Play Pal Music, to name a few.
