With an electrified audio-visual show, Baba Dochia brings a slice of Cluj’s underground back to Control, a project shaped by over a decade of constant evolution. Their sound refuses to settle, rooted in electronics but stretching into post-punk and post-rock territories, with darker tones and a cinematic drift. It’s this restless approach that keeps them slightly out of place, in the best way.

Analog synthesizers run through their core, giving the music an organic, tactile texture, something raw but controlled. Over the years, their path has been less about definition and more about transformation, each phase adding new layers to their sound.

Live, everything opens up. Baba Dochia translate that inner tension into an immersive audio-visual experience where sound and image move together, building in waves, spiraling, pulling the room deeper with each shift. It’s not a linear set, it’s a gradual escalation, a journey that becomes more and more intense.
