Founded in 2003, Dubamix is a French electro-dub project blending heavy bass, live saxophone and extensive sampling with political speeches and revolutionary songs.
Influenced by French dub, protest music, conscious rap, punk-rock and classical composers, Dubamix delivers a powerful sound ranging from heavy dub and UK steppa to roots reggae, electro-cumbia and drum’n’bass, driven by a strong antifascist and internationalist spirit.
Since 2011, Dubamix has played over 200 shows across France and Europe, including major festivals such as No Logo (FR), Fusion (DE), Alta Felicità (IT) and Seasplash (HR), as well as benefit concerts supporting social and political struggles.
The project has collaborated with artists including Dubioza Kolektiv, Marina P, Lengualerta, Mal Élevé and The Klezmatics. Its latest album, À travers les ponts (2026), brings together minority and endangered languages—Occitan, Catalan, Breton, Basque, Esperanto, Yiddish, Arabic, Hebrew and Guadeloupean Creole—in a celebration of cultural diversity and international solidarity.
