Its second edition presents The Dreamed Ones, with support from the Austrian Cultural Forum in Romania, sixpackfilm, and the Austrian Federal Ministry for European and International Affairs.

Based on the remarkable correspondence between two of the most influential German-language poets of the twentieth century, Ingeborg Bachmann and Paul Celan, The Dreamed Ones explores the fragile boundaries between memory, performance, literature, and love.
Synopsis
Inside a recording studio, two young actors meet to record the passionate correspondence exchanged by Ingeborg Bachmann and Paul Celan after the end of their love affair.
As they give voice to the letters, the emotional intensity of the relationship gradually begins to affect them. Outside the studio, they spend time together talking about music, tattoos, everyday life, and their own experiences, blurring the line between performance and reality.
Combining documentary, fiction, and theatrical performance, Ruth Beckermann’s film reflects on intimacy, language, memory, and the enduring power of words across time.
