Maria Răducanu & Krister Jonsson | 31 years of GH @ Green Hours
On September 1st, Green Hours is turning 31 years of existence, experience and passion and we are about to celebrate with a very special event: Maria Răducanu & Krister Jonsson duo.
They have played together since almost 20 years, in duo and in other different configurations, in Romania and around the world, in clubs and festivals.
And we are really happy that after a break of 3 years Krister will come back to Bucharest, to Green Hours’ stage for this very special occasion.
The most distinctive Romanian jazz voice, Maria Răducanu, brings a free spirit to some of the most moving songs from around the world. A self-taught ethno jazz singer Maria Răducanu makes music that is deeply emotional and universally touching. Noted for her impressive vocal range, as well as for her delightful guitar melodies, Răducanu has been compared to the legendary singer Maria Tănase and she is considered a leading light in new Romanian jazz.

Krister Jonsson is one of the most versatile and innovative jazz guitarists of his time. He played, among others, with Viktoria Tolstoy, Lars Danielsson, Caecilie Norby, or Magnus Öström.
His musical universe is powerful and touching at the same time, balancing between an amazing talent, a lot of hard work, self irony and fervor.
