Julian Barnes’ “Departure(s), the novel meant to be the author’s last, is a mixture of memoir, fiction and philosophical essay. It deals with coming to terms with old age, disease, mortality but does not lack wit, humour and brilliant writing.
The book is available on Cărturești.ro and at the Cărturești bookstore in Piața Sfatului.
See you there!
