Blue Sun is a Budapest-based concept platform founded by Hanussen (Terra Kontra) and Kozmo D (Moonbase Patel Disco), dedicated to creating and curating immersive musical experiences. The project was initiated in 2022, inspired by the Japanese culture of listening bars — intimate spaces built around high-end sound systems and a deep respect for carefully selected music.
Blue Sun centers on slow-paced, detail-rich sounds that invite focused listening. Moving across ambient, downtempo, experimental electronic music, jazz and related genres, it approaches music not as background, but as something to engage with more consciously — both individually and collectively.
In 2024, the project expanded into a record label, creating a physical and digital outlet for releases that reflect this perspective.
At its core, Blue Sun explores how listening can become a more intentional and meaningful way of connecting — to music, to space, and to each other.
