Steve Huerta is at the vanguard of the house music underground.
For the last decade, the LA-born, Berlin-based artist has been refining a deep, groove-based sound where old school tech house funk meets lush technicolor sound design. With releases on esteemed labels, like slow life, Slapfunk, and Small Hours, as well as his own Leizure, his records have become buy-on-site for those who like their house sunkissed and swung.
In a clubland landscape saturated with sameness, Huerta remains a singular figure. Both in the booth and studio, he displays an intimate and deep knowledge of house music past, present, and future.
