Some Thursdays sound better when a guitar riff, a synth line and the song you forgot you loved pop out of the speakers. On the eve of our 18th anniversary, Ground Control settles into the Front Room for another night where alternative music takes center stage.
Leo has been creating a shared language for a very long time, long before playlists became endless. A Control resident since 2008, his musical CV runs through MTV Romania, the Off The Record record shop and warm-up sets for the likes of Placebo, Suede, Editors, Jamiroquai and Ian Brown. His roots run deep in grunge, Britpop and alternative rock, but his selections have never gone old. Expect indie rock, new wave, and the occasional turn, chosen at the right time to gather everyone around the booth.
