We’re throwing another long running 12 hour party from late afternoon to early in the morning! And who else to curate this amazing outdoor journey other than our best of friends over at Misbits Record Shop?
Kicking off the Summer season at PW with the right moods and grooves, special guest DJ and favorite producer of many, Dan Piu alongside Dubtil making a return to PW under his recent alias, Robert Istoc.
As per usual, the night is hosted by Misbits’ own Miss I and oddist, playing from sunlight to midnight.
Dan Piu is a well respected veteran DJ, producer and sound visionary with over three decades of experience in the undeground electronic music scene as a DJ and producer.
Since 1989 he has played in different venues in the world, and is known for his deep, atmospheric, and timeless sound. He blends elements of house, techno, electro and ambient music with an emotional depth that resonates with listeners in very specific ways.
Dan Piu has also been crafting music since the early ’90s, releasing on respected labels such as his own Moto Music, Childhood Intelligence, Cartulis, Deep Explorer, Terrestrial Funk, Seekers, O.C.D., Lobster Theremin, just to name a few.
His work is characterized by a deep understanding of analog production techniques and a passion for storytelling through sound.
