DOC SCOTT [UK]

A true veteran and leading tastemaker in D&B, Doc Scott has been an essential and pivotal figure in the scene since before its inception and continues to push things forward. Founding member of ‘A Bunch Of Cuts’, his DJ sets in the mid-90s became legendary, notably at the Metalheadz Blue Note sessions and ‘Speed’.

Although primarily a DJ, his productions are definitive classics within the scene, such as ‘Here Comes The Drumz’ on Reinforced, the first ever Metalheadz release ‘VIP Drumz’, to the more mellow sounds of ‘Tokyo Dawn’ on Good Looking Records.

His own label 31 Records, sparked by Scott’s ground-breaking ‘Shadow Boxing’, has also been a hub for new talent, pushing some of the biggest artists today in their early days.

Paradox [LIVE] [UK]

Paradox is a pioneering figure in breakbeat and drum & bass, with a career spanning over three decades and releases dating back to 1992 on renowned labels like Metalheadz and Hospital Records.

He began his journey in 1990 with Mixrace before gaining recognition through his iconic aliases, Paradox and Alaska.

His music is celebrated for its deep atmospheres and intricate breakbeats, with standout releases on influential imprints such as Reinforced Records.

Over the years, he has collaborated with legendary artists including Herbie Hancock and Aphex Twin.

Known for his immersive live performances and meaningful projects, he has also contributed to charitable efforts, including a performance in Kyiv.

In 2026, he continues to push boundaries with new releases and international tours, remaining a vital force in the scene.

BRUSTEN

Brusten has been active in the drum & bass scene since 2008, starting as a resident DJ at Coolcat Club and performing at events organized by Basswise Crew. He began producing music in 2011, with releases on international labels like Deep Escape Music and Foldspace Records, as well as local collaborations.

In 2012, he co-founded a radio show on Radio Romania 3Net to promote electronic music and artists.
Currently, he is involved with Hangout Music and leads “The Grey Division,” focusing on new releases and collaborations. He later co-founded B:pressure in 2017 alongside Phobe1, a project focused on pushing the Bucharest drum & bass scene forward.

ELLEN

Ellen discovered drum & bass in 2012 through the Bucharest scene and went on to lead drumandbass.ro from 2015, promoting the genre locally. She made her DJ debut in 2021, quickly becoming an active presence in the scene with performances and a growing passion for bass music.

She later founded Ellen Recordings, building on the foundations of the Odyssey Sessions party series, as a platform dedicated to supporting artists and releasing forward-thinking electronic music.
