ctrl: Day Dreamers w/ Supersanity @ Control Club
‘Day Dreamers’ is a new party concept we put on stage for those who want to enjoy electronic music during the day.
‘Day Dreamers’ calls out to all those who want to decompress from the daily worries and the harshness of the city and want to connect with fellow ravers on the dancefloor during the daytime.
From 4/4 beats to more organic and melodic rhythms, ‘Day Dreamers’ navigates along diverse guests through the vast ocean of electronic music.
We open the series this Saturday with the local DJ and producer Ada Kaleh / Supersanity, who will experiment with all sorts of techno, starting from the low dub techno and reaching a higher BPM later in the evening.
Supersanity is a multi-disciplinary event series curated by Romanian musician and performer Ada Kaleh, where music, fashion, theatre, performance, architecture and visual arts intertwine; aiming at creating a healthy and inclusive environment, promoting tolerance and bringing together the open minded, the curious, the outcasts and those passionate about arts and the elegant side of techno; regardless of age, beliefs, appearance or orientations.
Rules and etiquette
– leave your prejudices at the door
– racism, homophobia, sexism, ageism and anything ending in phobia or ism will not be tolerated
– guide your behaviour on the fundamental principle that lies at the heart of a harmonious society, “my freedom ends where yours begins”
– be respectful with each-other’s space and personal boundaries – no microaggressions, hostile conduct or inappropriate touching – abstain from intrusive socialising unless given permission, either through subtle signals or explicitly
– if you become careless with your manners, please consider stepping outside without disturbing the environment
– if you are a witness or a victim of any abuse, you are encouraged to report it to the security staff
– refrain from using phones on the dancefloor
– breaking the etiquette will get you a warning, a repeat will result in a ban from future ctrl x Supersanity events
– we do not condone substance use and abuse, we advocate for education, prevention and awareness on the subject
– this is an inclusive environment, regardless of age, beliefs, appearance or orientations
– if you disagree with any of the stated above, please consider attending events more suited to your taste and convictions
– a strict door policy applies
– the venue reserves the right to deny admission.
