OBEAH, now a full-band project, brings an intriguing fusion of dub, post-punk, drum & bass, and dancehall inspired by legends Rodion G.A. and Mark Stewart. After this live session, brace yourself for Bexx b2b Nek and Calin in Room 1, blending electronic and techno sounds, while Room 2 will feature the legendary Vlad Dobrescu of C.T.C., spinning hip hop and rap with an underground edge.
3 years after life as a solo project, OBEAH fka Lil Obeah has become a band in the studio. The project initiated by Obeah Bucureci now consists of Tavi Scurtu on drums & percussion, Valentin Bîrsan on guitar plus bass & Marius Costache on production, synthesizers, mix & master.
The Dub Fusion, Post-Punk, Drum & Bass, Dancehall album contains 8 original tracks and is dedicated to Obeah Bucureci’s mentors, Rodion G.A and Mark Stewart from The Pop Group.
Bexx exhudes main character energy whenever she takes the stage. A true Lara Croft behind the decks, she commands crowds with her signature sound, a mixture of dark, sleazy, pumping beats leading up to unapologetic techno.
