The animation program of the Platforma BD 2026 Official Selection brings together 14 short animated films under 4 minutes and 14 animated films over 4 minutes, exploring transition as a lived experience.
Bodies transform or disappear. Identities are claimed, concealed or contested. Borders, languages and homes are left behind, while cities and public spaces are reshaped by those who inhabit them and those who govern them.
Moving between irony, documentary urgency, folkloric imagination and lyrical abstraction, the films explore a wide range of animation techniques, from hand-drawn and stop-motion to gouache, pastel and hybrid 2D/3D.
Rather than offering definitive answers, these stories invite us to reflect on what changes, what endures and what is lost along the way.

Programul de animație din Selecția oficială Platforma BD 2026 reunește 14 animații cu durata sub 4 minute și 14 animații de peste 4 minute, explorând tranziția ca experiență trăită.
Corpurile se transformă sau dispar. Identitățile sunt asumate, ascunse ori contestate. Granițele, limbile și casele sunt lăsate în urmă, în timp ce orașele și spațiile publice sunt remodelate de cei care le locuiesc și de cei care le guvernează.
De la ironie și urgență documentară la imaginar folcloric și abstractizare lirică, filmele traversează o varietate de tehnici de animație: desen manual, stop-motion, guașă, pastel și tehnici hibride 2D/3D.
În loc să ofere răspunsuri definitive, aceste povești ne invită să reflectăm asupra a ceea ce se schimbă, a ceea ce dăinuie și a ceea ce se pierde pe parcurs.
