Born and raised on Romanian soil, they both decided to try their luck in London where they live and work now. They share not only the expat dream, but the love of music as well. They meet frequently in London where they play together in small and intimate settings. Although we had them separately behind the decks quite recently, we never paired them with each other. So now they will show us how they do it on the Thames.

Prolific producer, Funk E has been around for some time now. Labels like Adult Only, Raum…musik, Kurbits, Pleasure Zone or The Rabbit Hole added Funk E into their catalog and he managed to land gigs around the world over an important period of time. Quite a legend of the Romanian club scene, he was a regular for Bucharest’s pretentious afterparty crowds and also secured residencies at Ibiza’s Zoo Project daytime parties and at the intimate Underground, year after year during his long stay on the sleepless island. With an impressive CV and quite a long affair with the music business, we are very pleased to have Funk E as a guest for this issue of Dragoș Ilici’s monthly residence at Platforma Wolff.
