Personnal w/ Cristi Cons & Personne @ Control Club
The second party of the new Personnal series hosted by Personne brings in DJ and producer Cristi Cons on April 22.
Cristi Cons’s affair with music is deeper than you might think. He studied the cello for more than 18 years and he’s also a graduate of the National Music Academy in Bucharest. Electronic music became of interest to Cristi Cons In his early twenties and since then he has developed a very deep and special sound. His mixing skills and talent pushed him in the booth of the best clubs in Europe and along today’s top DJ’s.
From mixing to music production, most often alongside his fellow Vlad Caia, under the SIT alias, the artist has always challenged himself to be more productive, more creative and look outside the usual patterns that other musicians are tempted to adopt.
Through hard work and constant passion for creating more, he became one of the founders of AMPHIA, a label that explores both the musical and visual journey, and nonetheless, he continues to amaze crowds in Europe and across its borders with sets full of emotion.
Personne has been around many years. He started his DJ métier in 2006 and he co-created brands such as Color, CABAL and Sunday Scoop. During the years, he played alongside artists like Ellen Allien, Lil’ Louis, Dixon, Jamie Jones, Tale of Us, Efdemin, Âme, Todd Terje, Soul Clap, Louie Vega and many more.
His style revolves around finding the perfect balance between spacey deep house and punchy, uplifting riffs and he constantly focuses on creating and elevating each night’s energy.
Personnal is a new series of parties at Control, hosted by Personne with hand-picked, top-tier Romanian and international artists. The set-up aims to create a special electronic music sequence suited for the pickiest house-heads around. Personnal sums up the host’s experience assimilated over the years, either as a DJ or as a promoter.
