A curator of diverse sounds, Herne has been part of music labels, club nights, and festivals, leaving a subtle, unassuming impact on the local music scene. After a nearly decade-long break, Herne’s selection is back on display in the revitalized Peapod mix series at Black Rhino Radio. The age of managing labels such as Origami Sound, curating the Interval festival or putting together Boiler Room events is long gone but not forgotten.

Sour is a DJ and promoter with over 15 years of dedication to underground club music. He began his journey in drum & bass, gradually expanding his sound across the full BPM spectrum—from 110 to 180—while crafting a distinct style rooted in moody breaks, hypnotic textures, and sharp percussive work. His sets often explore slower tempos and are designed to guide the dancefloor through immersive sonic narratives.

Driven by a deep love for club culture and a belief in inclusivity, Sour launched the amen project: a platform focused on diverse sounds and genre-fluid nights, created in response to the lack of variety he noticed in the local scene.
