The Mindkickers is an electronic music project that started in the summer of 2014. Their events were always organized in a closed circuit being addressed to the community created around them. They had a constant activity, organizing at least one party every month, some being even outside the city of Bucharest. Sometimes they do showcases and this makes them visible in the public area. The project is dedicated to the melodic techno genre but also covers other musical genres from deep house, funk or afro house to progressive, minimal or techno.
The Mindkickers return to Control this Friday, and this time, they take the stage in pairs. They will curate a night of progressive house and melodic techno that we won’t easily forget. Last time, they caught us off guard, keeping the crowd dancing until the last track.
Vlad Alexandru aka Alexsounder is an artist who has been active since 2006 and who has always had a constant underground activity. It covers many musical genres from deep house, indie, disco/funk to progressive house, melodic techno or techno, depending on the mood or theme of the party. Always dynamic, he is ready to conquer any scene with his music and energy.
Valdea is a Bucharest based DJ that started expressing his electronic soul in 2018. He varies in styles between melodic techno, afro house and deep house. His mission is to make you express your true complex selves through dance and music immersion.
Eleez fell in love with electronic music more than 10 years ago, the only music style that made her ecstatic and express herself freely. From 2022, she became curious about mixing techniques and, after finishing the DJ course, she joined The Mindkickers. They welcomed and supported her and together they are organizing the most kickass parties. The way Eleez feels music, especially melodic techno, absorbing her, moving her, is the way she wants to share it.
Hamada started listening to electronic music in 2009. He found out about The Mindkickers in 2015 and instantly started to love their concept and their private events. Influenced by Alexsounder and The Mindkickers, Hamada taught himself how to DJ. By 2020, he officially joined The Mindkickers crew as a DJ. He specializes in minimal, organic house, deep house, and progressive house, seamlessly integrating influences from Middle Eastern sounds.
