Dean Klooge [‘din Cluj’] are one of the freshest voices in Romania’s alternative scene, fusing punk energy, post-punk edge, alt-metal weight, indie flair, psychedelic swirls, and even touches of DnB into a sound that’s uniquely theirs.
Formed in 2020 and solidified in their current lineup since 2021, the band has quickly built a solid catalog—an EP (Fire In The Walls, 2023), a standout single (Joi Metalic, 2022), and most recently their ambitious full-length debut Ostrov (2025). The album includes five singles, each with its own video, featuring collaborations with Mihnea Blidariu (Luna Amară) and Tea Vișan, and was mixed/mastered by Bogdan Green (Toulouse Lautrec).
With shows lined up in Cluj, Gura Humorului, Electric Castle, and now Control on May 13, Dean Klooge are ready to make some noise.
