ctrl NIGHTS: Bexx & ABACILAR @ Control Club
On Saturday, December 7, Istanbul-born Berlin-based ABACILAR, head honcho of the Disco Levant label, returns to Control, playing together with our local mistress in dark and punchy sounds, Bexx.
Abacilar is a Producer, Audio Engineer, and Dj based in Berlin. His productions are based on digital models, inspired by an organic touch.
His music taste and connections are deeply rooted and influenced by the vibrant Istanbul nightlife. Abacilar has been an avid dancer ever since he could walk. His musical journey through the Americas left him further enchanted with the connectivity of music, consequently, he began to experiment with his own productions and organize festivals in exotic places along his journey. His travels eventually led him to Berlin where he began to organize underground raves in abandoned spaces and pursue the exploration of interesting sonic productions. His music is crafted with intelligent models with the intent to journey curious ears to distinct spheres.
He is motivated to create an energetic atmosphere to deliver distinctive grooves, hypnotic leads, and powerful bass lines. He thrives on taking the dance floor on a journey where exists nothing but the epic resonances that take effect. Abacilar is now in the process of releasing music that he has been producing for the past years and founding a label with a vision inspired to bring a fresh new palate to the ears.
Bexx exhudes main character energy whenever she takes the stage. A true Lara Croft behind the decks, she commands crowds with her signature sound, a mixture of dark, sleazy, pumping beats leading up to unapologetic techno. With an eclectic taste in music, she knows how to deliver an immersive, captivating atmosphere.
